top 10 brunch spots on the gold coast

without a doubt, my favourite meal of the day is breakfast. however, my definition and the time frame of breakfast is rather vague so i’m going to use the term ‘brunch’. here are my 10 current favourites on the gold coast:

paradox coffee roasters

paradox boasts a large array of handcrafted menu options and their cabinet of sweets is always full. i created my own deconstructed eggs benny on this lovely morning and it was delicious.

elston restaurant and bar

whether it is for brunch, dinner or a cocktail i would happily recommend elston. whatever the occasion, they’re a personal favourite for me! if you’re a fan of pork, try the bacon trio- crispy bacon, thick cut bacon and pulled pork.

acai is the perfect brunch choice and yo-get-it frozen yoget bars definitely make the best. you can’t see in this picture but there is vanilla and almond granola hidden underneath and it is to die for!

paddock bakery

for location and vibes, paddock gets a 10/10 with their food followed closely behind. their menu is simple but they do it so well. the perfect sunday morning…

Paddock Bakery

the shack superfood cafe

for a quick and healthy brunch or snack, the shack superfood cafe is a great option.

Superfood Shack

daark espresso

i don’t tend to eat out too often at this end of the gold coast but with griffith university just around the corner, it is an ideal choice before a lecture. not to mention the food is unreal.

Daark Espresso

longboards laidback eatery & bar

for a lunch option, the burgers from longboards are awesome! if you love lamb, the slumdog is a good choice and definitely don’t leave without trying the the dorito marinated chicken. it’s really something else.

burleigh social

similar to paddock and located at the opposite end of the street, burleigh social is my newest favourite. smashed avo, poached eggs and fetta with a side of bacon… what more could you want!

Burleigh Social

a cute little cafe in varsity with great food and great hot chocolate. due to their popularity they also have two sister cafes in burleigh and coolangatta that i also enjoy!

grocer & grind

if it’s wholefoods you’re after, definitely check out grocer & grind. you’ll be spoilt for choice but if you’re having troubles, go with the banana protein pancakes.

feel free to comment any brunch spots on the gold coast you love!
